African Safari

The wildlife of East Africa is stunning for its diversity, abundance, and uniqueness; from the massive African elephant to the tiny bushbaby these animals inspire awe in all who visit these magnificent environs. Terrestrial species are not the only reasons for visiting, prolific birdlife makes this region an ornithologist's paradise. The term .Big Five. comes from East Africa.s hunting days; sportsman determined that the leopard, elephant, lion, buffalo, and rhino were the hardest to track, most dangerous to shoot, and the most worthy trophy. Hunting has ended in Kenya, but photographers agree that East Africa's best for wildlife and number one for the "Big Five"!

Often overlooked, but no less impressive, are Kenya.s reefs and marine life. East Africa has the best sport fishing in the world and hosts a number of world records. The diving and snorkeling in Kenya.s protected marine parks offers visitors a look at some of the most beautiful reefs in the world.
